Acetum's history of quality and tradition begins in Motta di Cavezzo, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, within the historic headquarters that links its name to the land where it was built in 1906: the Motta Cellars. In the Modena countryside, between Cavezzo and Motta di Cavezzo, there is a company with an annual production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI of 25 million liters. With an aging capacity in barrels and vats of precious wood of 14 million liters, and an exclusive cellar, Acetum delivers to over 100 countries. They also house 5,600 barrels of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO. Their commitment to quality is also a focus on the environment. Balsamic Vinegar would not exist without its territory, which is why Acetum is at the forefront of reducing consumption, producing clean energy, sewage purification, sustainability of production and packaging processes.
