Truffles are a member of the fungi family known for its earthy flavor and aroma. Truffles are grown worldwide, but are primarily harvested in the wild in Europe. Truffles and mushrooms, although both fungi, are not the same. Truffles grow underground, while mushrooms grow above surface. Different truffle varieties can be picked year-round, but fall and winter are the primary seasons.

Our amazing truffle importer is Urbani. The family has been dedicated to truffles for six generations. Their reputation for excellence has been carefully handed from one generation to the next. The family's greatest pleasure is seeing their truffles, which are found and picked in the most fertile woodlands, being served on tables in some of the most prestigious restaurants in the world!
