The Ohio Local Season is Here!

The Ohio local season is in full swing, with tomatoes, squash, and peppers ready to add local flavor to menus, and more to come!

We make a strong effort to partner with local farms, allowing us to source high-quality produce with reduced food miles, more nutrients, and true local flavor. Buying local plays a direct role in sustainability, freshness, and the health of local economies and agriculture.

Working with farmers who prioritize soil health and long-term agricultural sustainability, like Holthouse Farms of Ohio, helps protect land and water resources while producing dependable, high-quality crops. We also work with a variety of farms within the Fresh Forward Farms Cooperative, which connects family-owned farms across the Great Lakes region, from Clark Fruit & Vegetable Farm and their specialty in tomatoes to Quarry Hill Orchards and their abundance of local Ohio apples.

As the season continues to build, more local items will come into play, offering a steady rotation of fresh produce across the board.
