At Premier ProduceOne, sustainability is built into how we operate, and we are proud to have been the first Green Business Benchmark-certified produce company in the state of Ohio.

With a focus on waste reduction, improved efficiency, and local sourcing, we continue to reduce our environmental impact and support local communities.

In 2025, our recycling programs diverted over 136,000 pounds of paper, cardboard, and office materials from landfills, while more than 1.8 million pounds of pallets were reused or recycled. These efforts contribute directly to resource conservation, helping save thousands of trees and reducing overall waste across our operations throughout the state of Ohio and beyond.

Energy efficiency also remains a key focus. Through continued operational improvements, we reduced energy usage by over 612,000 kWh in 2025, contributing to a CO₂ reduction of nearly 3 million pounds. These improvements supported lower emissions while maintaining the level of service and reliability our customers expect.

Sustainability is not a single initiative, but a commitment to making thoughtful, measurable improvements across our organization. We’re proud of the results in 2025 and remain focused on continuous improvement moving forward.
